Multiplayer LoL Quiz — race other players in real time
Guessing champions is fun. Guessing them faster than everyone else is better. Fog of War is the real-time multiplayer LoL quiz on PentaGuess: up to 30 players in the same room, one obscured splash art per round, and points that melt away second after second. The fastest correct answer takes the most, and the leaderboard refreshes between every round, so you always know who you have to beat.
Create a room in a few clicks, pick the number of rounds and the time limit, then share your six-character code — or join an open game and take on whoever is online. Everything runs in the browser, on desktop and mobile, with no account and nothing to install.
How to play
- Open Fog of War and either create your own room or join an existing one with the six-character code a friend sent you.
- As the host, set the match up: 5 to 30 rounds, 5 to 30 seconds per round, and the visual mode — Brume (blurred splash art), Fragment (a small window opening onto the artwork) or Mix, which alternates between the two.
- Every round shows the same image to everyone at once. Answer the moment you recognise the champion: the points on offer shrink with each passing second, so hesitation is expensive.
- Follow the live standings between rounds, then compare final scores when the last round is done. Play again straight away with the same room and the same players.
Features
- Real-time lobbies — up to 30 players in a single game, all facing the same round at the same moment.
- Live leaderboard — scores are recomputed after each round, so you can see exactly where you stand and who is closing in.
- Speed scoring — points decrease second by second, which rewards recognising a champion first rather than merely recognising them.
- Public or private rooms — drop into an open game, or keep yours behind its code and play with friends only.
- Nothing to install — it runs in any browser, on desktop and mobile, and joining a game takes nothing more than the room code.
FAQ
How many players can join one game?
Up to 30 players can share the same Fog of War room, all answering the same round at the same time.
Do I need an account to play multiplayer?
No. Joining a room only takes its six-character code. An optional profile — a nickname, no email address — lets you keep your stats across devices.
Can I play a 1v1 instead?
Yes. Recall Duel puts you against a single opponent online, and Recall also has a co-op mode where several players fill in the roster together.
Is it free?
Yes. PentaGuess is a fan-made project, free to play with no paywall, built on the champion assets published through Riot's Data Dragon API.
